Return addresses

This screen tells Falcon where returns go and how parcels are sized. Your return address appears on prepaid labels and in the instructions for customers who ship on their own. Returned items are restocked at the Shopify location you link.

Open Settings → Return addresses. Changes save as soon as you make them.

Prepaid labels need a phone and email

Labels can't be created without both. If the address has no email, Falcon uses your notification email instead.

Default address

Your first address becomes the default automatically. The default has a Default badge and appears at the top of the list.

Falcon uses the default address for prepaid labels and sample quotes. It's also the address shown to customers who ship on their own.

Manage addresses

Each address shows its full address and, if linked, Restock at: with the Shopify location.

  • Search filters addresses by name or address.
  • The sort button switches between A to Z and Z to A.
  • The ••• menu has Edit, Set as default and Delete.

With no address, the list says "No return address yet. Restocking uses your first Shopify location until you add one."

Use address names as label recipients

The return address name is printed as the recipient on return labels.

SettingWhat it doesDefault
Use address names as label recipientsWith it on, the recipient line shows the return address name, for example "Returns – Warehouse A", instead of your store name.Off

This helps when parcels go to a 3PL or warehouse that sorts incoming returns by recipient name. Click View label example to see a sample.

Package sizes

Default parcel dimensions used for return labels. Falcon sends the default package to the label provider when it gets rates.

Add a package

  1. Click Add package.
  2. Enter a Package name, then Length, Width and Height in cm, and Weight in kg.
  3. Tick Set as default package if Falcon should use it.
  4. Click Save.
FieldDefault in the form
Length30 cm
Width20 cm
Height10 cm
Weight1 kg

The name and all four numbers are required, and the numbers must be above zero.

How weight is used

Falcon uses the package weight for each item in the return. A return of three items is sent as one parcel with three times the weight, up to 30 kg.

With no packages, the card says "No packages yet. Add one so labels use the right box size." Each package's ••• menu has Edit, Set as default and Delete.
